How can Silence help us find Unity within ourselves?

Silence is a state of consciousness, an inner place where we can connect with ourselves, a higher energy, with God or the Universe. Prayer often serves as an internalisation and silence, before any intention or expressed desire.

In this perspective, when we reach a state of inner silence, we are in a place where everything is unity and where we can connect with divine energy and the power of our intentions. Let's explore this idea for a moment and discover how it is possible to find within ourselves this state of silence and consciousness.

When we reach a state of inner silence, we simultaneously find ourselves in a state of consciousness that can be considered as the inner place of all possibilities. This is largely due to the fact that silence allows us to connect with a higher energy, a divine or universal force that can be called the Source, or otherwise if one wishes. We discover that this is also a part of ourselves, much larger, wiser, more conscious and loving, which can be revealed from this silence. We understand, and above all, we feel in this inner space that we are an integral part of the greater whole.

From there, we are able to connect with the creative energy, source of life and expansion. By accepting to abandon our individual consciousness to this inner space, as in a liberating airlock, we are instantly filled with a sensation of Peace, Unity and Clarity. A deep harmony with all that is, offers us the immense Joy of feeling how Life and everything that presents itself is aligned, and has an obvious meaning. Everything is so wonderfully orchestrated! We are offered a better understanding of ourselves, our personal history, and our place in the world.

However, starting from a reality that is often less luminous, governed by external noise, distraction and agitation, it can be more difficult to reach this state of tranquillity and inner silence. Let's say that this invites us to more practice and a strengthening of our ability to remain centred and inwardly focused. The inner noise, usually caused by a flow of incessant and uncontrolled thoughts, worries that sometimes take up too much space in our minds, or emotional or physical conditions that mobilise our attention to the point of limiting our connection to this space, can also be limiting in reaching this space of inner silence.

Nevertheless, by focusing on our inner space, we can gradually free ourselves from the distractions that surround us or those that we have generated internally. With practice and by focusing our attention on one thing at a time, we gradually find the way back to this unalterable centre. We all know the way back, because we are all from it.

As you may have understood, to fully access this conscious divine connection again, it is necessary to turn inward rather than seeking it outside. By doing this, we rehabilitate the power of the Divine in ourselves through sincere and limitless acceptance that we are in the service of the Source as much as it is in the service of our inner evolution through each of our choices and experiences.

Reflective meditation

Reaching the state of inner silence is synonymous with a return to the heavenly home. Rehabilitating the memory that we may never have really left this space where Everything is...forever.

"The dispersed power makes noise. The concentrated power becomes silent.”
